(BCN) -- Food insecurity in California ticked upward over the past year, bringing the share of hardship back up to levels early in the COVID-19 pandemic, according to data released by the California Association of Food Banks on Tuesday."Families are buying less food," said May Lynn Tan, the association's director of research and strategic initiatives, who conducted a survey of food aid recipients this summer. Hunt, a freshman, ran for four touchdowns and caught a fifth as Ohio overcame a host of transfer portal losses to win its fifth-straight bowl game, beating Georgia Southern 41-21 at the Myrtle Beach Bowl. “I did not see this coming at all,” said Hunt, pressed into service when the Bobcats top two running backs in Sieh Bangura and O’Shaan Allison entered the portal after combining for 1,263 yards and 10 touchdowns. A fiery wreck on the road left two people dead in North Miami Beach.North Miami Beach Police and Miami-Dade Fire Rescue units responded to the scene of the crash in the area of Northwest 172nd Street and U.S. 1, Saturday afternoon.The victims’ car caught fire after it struck a power pole.
