(KSNT) — Federal health officials say cake slices sold in Walmart stores could pose serious allergy risks to some individuals. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) said in a press release that David's Cookies is recalling more than 950 units of its 7 oz. "Marketside Chocolate Chip Explosion Cake" with the lot number BS23212. This product was sold in Walmart stores across the country. The recall was issued after 960 units of "Marketside Chocolate Peanut Butter Chocolate Cake" were mislabeled as "Marketside Chocolate Chip Explosion Cake," according to the FDA. Because the label doesn't list peanuts as an ingredient and doesn't declare a peanut allergen warning, federal regulators fear the product may pose a risk for those with a peanut allergy.(Photo Courtesy/FDA)No illnesses or injuries have been reported to the FDA yet in connection to the recalled product. CINCINNATI — The Lewis family was getting ready for a watch party, still preparing their food, when Major League Baseball’s amateur draft came on the television six years ago. With the Twins’ pick, No. 1 overall, set to be announced, only half the family was even tuning into the draft. And that, Royce Lewis said, was more out of general curiosity than expecting that he might be the pick.He was expecting the Twins, who he said had seemed less interested in him than the San Diego Padres, who had the No. 3 pick, and Atlanta Braves, who selected fifth, to select “anyone but me.”And at that time, June 2017, there was another high school kid in Southern California that many thought might be taken with the No. 1 pick. That kid was Hunter Greene. Wednesday, the two are set to square off for the first time as major leaguers in Cincinnati with Greene taking the mound for the Reds. The Twins, it turned out, were plenty interested in Lewis. PEORIA, Ill. (WMBD) - A Peoria fire captain told a Peoria County jury that he and his partner had to do a "double take" when they found a woman's body in a fully engulfed house on Peoria's East bluff nearly two years ago.Capt. Frank Bivert, a 25-year veteran of the department, said he was one of the first firefighters to arrive at 1021 E. Parker Gabriel, Broncos beat reporterLife’s swell up in Boulder, where Deion Sanders and his guys find themselves 3-0 and ranked No. 19 in the country. Nobody saw that one coming, but we’re seeing it now — by the millions. You know another thing we didn’t see? An 0-2 start for Sean Payton’s Broncos. None of us thought this was a great team, but if I’m not mistaken, all three of us picked Denver to win each of its first two games. So, let’s give the prognosticating another try. How many wins will Payton’s team have when its Week 9 bye rolls around? The schedule from here: at Miami, at Chicago, vs. the Aaron Rodgers-less New York Jets, at Kansas City (Thursday night), vs. Green Bay and at Kansas City.I can see maybe a 2-6. The Bears aren’t good, and a split between Rodgers’ old team and his new one — neither of whom he’s playing for after tearing his Achilles — seems attainable. That’s not great, but 1-7 would be ...Latest news
